What’s this all about?

Forest City is the recording arm for indie label Peapod Recordings. After construction of our new space we decided to open the room up to other artists + bands as well.

The studio was designed to fill the space between home/practice space recording and larger studios. I tried to imagine the kind of studio that my 15 year old self would feel good about bringing some 4-track recordings to have mixed, or to try to knock out a 30-minute record in a day. A warm, comfortable space that people say is easy to get work done in.
