if and it started as a solo recording project of Evan Parker’s. In the summer of 2009 Evan brought basic tracks (primarily acoustic and vocals) to the studio for some additional tracking and mixing starting with Jonathan Kornicki on bass and me on drums. From there we added a few more embellishments including Hammond organ, lap steel, etc.

The Buffalo Heart EP is now finished and is coming out on Peapod Recordings this summer. In addition to Evan and Jonathan, if and it now features Chris Dibiasio (Dead End Armory, Son Of Jim) on drums and Jon York (Softer, The Above Ground Situation) on guitar. Look for some live shows any day now.
