OLAS is a flamenco inspired acoustic band featuring members of Fire on Fire/Cerberus Shoal, AOK Suicide Forest, Conifer, and Grupo Esperanza. We’ve been recording versions of their music, which features acoustic guitar, oud, cajon, palmas and other percussion, starting in early 2010 with the idea for a CD release sometime this summer. The OLAS live show is an unforgettable experience, bringing the manic energy and passion of flamenco music and dance into a more underground, punk influenced realm.
